Our Mission

At Many Moons Ago Co., we believe every vintage piece deserves a second chapter. Long before “sustainable” became a trend, antique furniture, mismatched china, and charming old décor were built to last — and we’re here to make sure they do.

Our collection is lovingly sourced one treasure at a time: from family attics and heirloom cupboards to estate sales, thrift shops, and dusty garages where hidden gems wait patiently for their next invitation. Each piece is handpicked for its character, history, and ability to transform modern celebrations into extraordinary scenes filled with texture, romance, and personality.

Our mission is simple: to breathe new life into beautiful old things and keep them out of landfills. Instead of being discarded, our pieces spend their lives in the spotlight — adorning weddings, photo shoots, showers, and gatherings that matter.

From tufted settees and wooden chairs to vintage dinnerware and floral glassware, we offer curated rentals that bring warmth, nostalgia, and magic to the spaces where people celebrate.

A second chapter for beautiful things.

Meet the Moons

At the heart of Many Moons Ago Co. is the Moon family — Emily and Travis, along with their three daughters — who share a deep love for creativity, storytelling, and meaningful celebrations.

In 2011, Emily and Travis founded The Apollo Center, an aerial and circus arts center in Broomfield, with a small dream to create an artistic home. Over the years, that dream has grown into a family-centered collection of creative ventures dedicated to bringing beauty, imagination, and connection into their community. For more than a decade, Emmy and Travis have produced aerial dance performances, taught students of all ages, and designed immersive artistic experiences that bring people together through movement and storytelling.

Their own love story brought them to Grand Lake, Colorado, where Emily, along with her sister, thoughtfully designed and styled their outdoor, vintage circus wedding — a moment that quietly planted the seed for what would later become Many Moons Ago Co.

Today, the Moons continue to blend artistry with intention, carefully sourcing vintage pieces and creating curated event settings that help others celebrate life’s most meaningful moments. You may even spot their three daughters lending a helping hand behind the scenes, making Many Moons Ago Co. truly a family affair.

Our Team

Emily Moon

Founder

Emily (Emmy) Moon is the co-founder of The Apollo Center, Artistic Director of Iluminar Aerial, and the creative visionary behind Many Moons Ago Co. With a Bachelor of Arts in Dance & Theatre from the University of Texas at Austin and a professional background in aerial dance, Emmy has spent over a decade crafting immersive artistic experiences on stage and in the air.

After performing with companies including Aerial Dance Chicago and training with leading aerial artists across the country, Emmy and her husband Travis founded The Apollo Center in 2011 to create a welcoming artistic home for their community. Today, through Many Moons Ago Co., she brings that same eye for storytelling, atmosphere, and thoughtful detail into the world of vintage event design — helping celebrations feel timeless, romantic, and truly one of a kind.
